ABOUT OUR FACILITIES
BABY ROOM
Age 3 months - 1 year
In the baby room the children's care needs are met by staff in consultation with parents.Â
The baby room is set up that children have access to all toys and equipment on a daily basis.
Observations are carried out on the children. and planning is then based on these observations.
WOBBLER ROOM
Aged 1-2 years
In the Wobbler room the staff help the children to become a bit more independent.
The staff encourage children's learning through play and foster their curiosity and exploration both indoors and outdoors.
Staff will plan the environment around where the children's' interest lies.
TODDLER ROOM
Age 2-3 years.
Children aged 2.5 years - 3.5 years are encouraged to work socially with their peers and become more confident learners.

JUNIOR & SENIOR ECCE
age 2.5 -5 years
Junior & Senior ECCE children are encouraged to become Independent. All observations and curriculum planning are carried out in line with Aistear and Siolta to help prepare children for smooth transition into National School.

Children can also avail of the AIM programme should they need support in any areas of development.

The ECCE rooms split for the morning time (9am-12noon) and come together for the evening. This allows the children time to learn and engage with both their own age group and also children with different ages.
SCHOOL AGE CARE
Before and After School
Banogue Community Creche offers both Breakfast Club and After-school care for school aged children.
During school closures holiday care is available for a set daily fee.
Holiday Care is subject to staff availability limiting numbers. It is based on a first come first served basis serving all children who attend Banogue Community Creche first before expanding in to the local community. We do our best to provide holiday care to as many families as possible.
OUTDOOR PLAY
Playgrounds and Field
The benefits of outdoor play are huge to children and we try to get the children out every day.
Our purpose built playground is one of the children favourite areas to play in.
We have recently purchased the field adjacent to the creche. This allows the children a wider space for their imagination to grow outdoors.
